SOUTHAMPTON BOAT SHOW 2026 – DRAGONFLY 40 CARBON
Join us at Southampton Boat Show 2026 from 18 – 27 September 2026, for the UK debut of Dragonfly 40 Carbon.
Our flagship Dragonfly 40 won the prestigious title of ‘European Yacht of the Year 2021’ in the Performance Cruisers category, with the jury describing it as “the new benchmark in performance cruising”.
However Dragonfly have raised the bar again with the Dragonfly 40 Carbon, which makes its UK debut at this year’s show in Berth M131.
This new version features pre-preg carbon floats, wings and structural bulkheads. These reduce the weight of the standard boat by almost 20%, and increase stiffness. As a result, both performance and agility are increased to an even higher level. Dragonfly 40 C is capable of 24+ knots, and double digit speeds upwind too.
Meanwhile, Dragonfly’s renowned quality and interior design ensure comfortable and fun cruising in the fast lane. Dragonfly 40 is also easy and safe to sail short-handed or even solo, as all sail controls are led aft to the dual-zone cockpit layout with a bank of electric winches.
Its dramatic 8.4m beam provides enormous stability, both under sail and at anchor, with normal heeling of just 5-7 degrees. However our Swing Wing system quickly reduces beam to just 4m to access a single marina berth. Thanks to the kick-up centreboard and rudder, draft can be reduced to just 0.7m to access secluded anchorages denied to most yachts this size.
