DRAGONFLY 33 – PERFORMANCE CRUISER

DF 33 OVERVIEW

DRAGONFLY 33 represents the next generation of performance cruising trimarans

Built on the proven success of its predecessor, the DRAGONFLY 32, this new design combines the practicality, comfort and sailing characteristics owners love with a modern, elegant design.

The wave-piercing main hull and float design, a fixed bowsprit and the proven Dragonfly Swing Wing system, combine to offer functionality, performance and elegance in perfect harmony. It is equally suited for single-handed adventures, family cruising, offshore passages and weekend racing.

DRAGONFLY 33 offers 6 berth accommodation, with two cabins and generous headroom throughout. The master cabin is now aft, with walk-in access opposite the large and well-equipped galley.

The spacious and modern dual-zone cockpit with twin wheels, an open stern and carefully integrated sail controls led back to the helm, create an intuitive and comfortable sailing environment. Large lockers in the floats store extra sails, folding bikes and all your cruising gear.

Kick-up rudder and centreboard give access to shallow anchorages. As a result, you enjoy those perfect spots denied to other yachts. At anchor Dragonfly 33 becomes your own private island, with space to spread out. The trampolines are both perfect for sun-worshipers, and a great platform to rig a windsurfer or wing-foil.

The Swing Wing system allows Dragonfly 33 to fold quickly to reduce beam by 50%, without using any tools. As a result, it fits a single marina berth.

We offer two versions, Touring for easy family cruising and Performance which features a taller, more powerful rig.

Development is well underway, and we’ll keep you informed as it progresses. Dragonfly 33 hull 1 will be launched in summer 2027, and client deliveries begin in early 2028. However the first boats are already sold, so please contact us now to discuss your future sailing plans

“It may come as a surprise to hear many sailors talk about a Dragonfly topping their dreamboat wishlist. Sail one, however, and you understand immediately. These Danish trimarans fly, but are also seaworthy and solid”

“Our trip was 1,900nm from South Africa to Tanzania with top winds at 48 knots and breaking seas of 7-8m. The boat never once missed a step. I can’t recommend the Dragonfly 32 enough”
