World Premiere of DRAGONFLY 36

After 2 years development and with 11 boats already sold, we are proud to introduce our newest member of the DRAGONFLY RANGE, the DRAGONFLY 36 Performance Cruiser.

The World Premiere of the NEW DRAGONFLY 36 will be at boot Düsseldorf 2025, but the next available boat is already a Spring 2026 delivery.

The DRAGONFLY 36 is designed for comfortable cruising in the fast lane. It sets new standards in terms of comfort, performance, practicality and ease of handling – even with a short-handed crew or single-handed.

This new model will be available in two versions, both with carbon masts. The TOURING version with self-tacking jib, and the PERFORMANCE version with an even taller rig, and larger overlapping furling headsail.

Both versions feature our wave-piercing float design. Our distinctive reverse bow is also extended to the centre hull for the first time. This creates a brand-new main hull design, for safe and comfortable upright sailing. 

In addition, DRAGONFLY 36 has a fixed bowsprit for easy setup of downwind sails and anchoring, plus a large, dual-zone cockpit with twin helm wheels. All lines are led back to four electric winches aft in the cockpit. 

Below deck, the new interior design includes forward- and aft double cabins, a separate head, a modern galley and a spacious dinette to host family and friends. Standard finish is in ash wood, with elm as an option.

The unique and revolutionary DRAGONFLY SWING WING system – introduced 35 years ago – quickly reduces the 8.12 m beam to only 3.7 m, using no tools. For the first time this an all-composite construction, making the DRAGONFLY SWING WING system even stronger.
