We’re proud to be celebrating 20 years as Dragonfly UK dealer in 2025. We also offer heart-felt thanks to all our clients over the years.

Many of them have progressed through the Dragonfly range with us, as it’s hard to go back to single-digit speeds and heeling after the joy of trimaran sailing.

Our Dragonfly journey started when Al Wood bought an original Dragonfly 25, following many years of multihull cruising and racing. Multihull Solutions Ltd was established in 2005, after Dragonfly CEO Jens Quorning invited Al to become the new Dragonfly dealer in the UK.

Al Wood says: “It’s been a privilege to represent Dragonfly in the UK for the past 20 years, and I hope to do so for many more. Thank you to Jens Quorning, for inviting me to join Team Dragonfly.

I’ve met many inspirational people on this journey, and it’s been a pleasure to help build the Dragonfly fleet in the UK up to almost 120 boats. Dragonfly are now by far the most popular trimarans in the UK, due to their unique combination of 20+ knot performance, quality and comfort.

This success is testament to the most incredible and passionate team at Quorning Boats in Denmark. This 3rd-generation family business has an incredible story, and are acknowledged world-leaders in trimaran design. In addition, they have won many awards including 4x ‘European Yacht of the Year’.

Dragonfly trimarans are also fantastic family boats. We started taking our daughters to the beach as babies on our DF 25. However by the age of 5 they were regularly helming the Dragonfly 28, as a trimaran tiller never loads up.

In 2025 we start a new chapter, with the launch of the stunning new Dragonfly 36. I look forward to meeting many more sailing enthusiasts in the years ahead, and helping them to ‘unfold their horizons’ with a Dragonfly trimaran.”
