Dragonfly 36 has been announced overall winner of Cruising World’s Boat of the Year 2026

We’re proud to announce that Dragonfly 36 has won another major award. Cruising World magazine in the US have voted it winner of the Performance Multihull under 45ft category.

However, it gets even more exciting, as the jury also vote for their overall Boat of the Year from 15 nominees across all categories. We’re absolutely delighted to announce they chose Dragonfly 36 as the overall winner:

I have to admit, a trimaran winning the overall Boat of the Year competition is a quirky choice. But I just don’t see a boat in this year’s fleet that beats it.”

In a unanimous vote, all of us fellow judges agreed.

This is wonderful news, and we congratulate Jens and Peter Quorning, plus the whole Dragonfly team for this fantastic award.

Remarkably, our flagship Dragonfly 40 also won ‘Best Cruising Trimaran’ in Boat of the Year 2024.
