YACHTING WORLD TESTS DRAGONFLY 36
Yachting World has just published an astonishing review of the new Dragonfly 36, in their September 2025 issue. We’re delighted and proud that they have featured it on the front cover too. The cover caption gives a taste of what is to follow inside, but we won’t spoil the surprise here:
The most thrilling cruiser ever?
Back in mid-May 2025, we enjoyed two fantastic days in Denmark with Toby Hodges and photographer Richard Langdon. It was great to meet them again, as the last time the three of us sailed together was on our Dragonfly 28 Sport back in 2010. I remember some epic sailing, and a lot of fun too.
15 years on, it seems little had changed. We were blessed with perfect sunny weather with up to 20 knots of wind, and the boat performed superbly under Jens and Peter Quorning’s expert guidance. While it was clear Toby was impressed, we weren’t expecting this at all – it’s one of the most glowing yacht reports we’ve ever seen. Please look for a copy and we hope you enjoy this remarkable story.
We are all so grateful for this stunning article, and humble that this boat would receive such a review by a highly-respected marine journalist.
Richard also shot some stunning video and drone footage, and we hope this gives you a taste of sailing this amazing yacht.
In addition to sailing the Dragonfly 36, we also toured the Dragonfly yard. Jens Quorning explained the design and engineering technology behind these special yachts before we headed back out on the water, joined by Peter solo-sailing the Dragonfly 40 carbon.
Don’t despair if you the September 2025 issue, as Yachting World have now published the article on their website too. Read this amazing review by clicking the link image below
